The clean Start!
It was about time, after 3 years of blogging svensworld jumped the plank. It’s amazing how good it feels to remove junk, it frees your mind.
the new start
svensworld is a place to share thoughts, findings and tough love. But it’s been like that before or not? Utterly wrong, before this tablua raza it’s been about nothing useful at all. To make a long story short, everything that crosses Sven’s life and is interesting enough to be passed over to tzeh readerz of this blog.
The fresh start did not only restart the whole content of this blog, moreover it refreshes the design and gives it a new groove.
is a restart smart?
Hearing those voices in the back of the room asking, was that a smart move to make? You will be punished by the almighty google! You will lose your readers! Seriously, this page has a pagerank of 2, which already is a joke and to be honest, which readers? There are almost no readers left besides the spammers posting their keyword stuffed links on a nofollow blog and the occasional friend passing by. To answer the question:
yes it is a smart move to make.

Thank you for remembering me. It’s been a while since I visited your blog long time ago. Well. I barely visited any blog at all.
I have been very busy working on my new startup project. Yup! Another new startup. My e-commerce stores have been very slow and the cost of managing inventory is too high. So I decided to start something for information only. There won’t be any inventory or physical goods to stock up in my garage.

Anyway, I am learning everything to make this my magic bullet.
Back to your blog. I really like the dark blue background. The only thing bothering me is the transparency. It makes the white text too hard to read. Try reduce the transparency. You want people to read your content instead looking at your background all the time.
Other idea will be randomly changing your background once a while (weekly or monthly) using the same background but different color tone. Ex. Orange, Purple.
Just my 2 cents. I think I need to work on my own blog as well. It’s been a while since I updated my blog months ago. It’s still running old wordpress.
I am so glad that you still remember me. Yup! I have spent a lot of time on Twitter, Facebook, which have built some audiences to my new project.
By the way, should I resubscribe your RSS feed? I guess it hasn’t changed. Still have your old one in my Google Reader.

@Terence: Thanks for the good comment. I will look over the background of the main text and reduce the transparency a bit, it really makes the text a bit too hard to read. I like hard to read, but too hard is bad.
I wish you the best of the luck so you succeed with what you are doing, looks like you have put a lot of effort into it, do you see some profits yet, or are you still in the building phase?
